Set on 20 acres of bushland, you’ll be immersed in the tranquillity and peace of our property from the moment you arrive here. For the weary traveller, or if you’re working on the island, you can relax and rejuvenate at the end of the day, embraced by the wilderness.

You will probably see a family of kangaroos, a flock of blue wrens or if you’re lucky you might even see an echidna meandering along the path. Our guests enjoy wide open spaces which are home to a variety of Australian wildlife.

Kangaroo Island Cabins offer a serene and tranquil setting with budget friendly self-contained accommodation. We’re only a 5 minute drive from the town centre of Kingscote and a 12 minute drive from Kingscote Airport. The property is fairly level and easy to take yourself off for a walk and discover and explore the flora and fauna of the region.

We have various accommodation options to suit families, couples and singles. We have plenty of room for your boat or trailer, and our property is easily accessible from Bullock Track Road and the main highway.

Kangaroo Island Cabins are ideal for workers who visit the island for short or medium term stays. We have emergency workers, surveyors, construction workers, nurses and utilities employees with light weight trucks and other large vehicles. We have maritime and fisheries with large boats, and many other service people staying with us.

Our workers who visit appreciate the location, privacy, and the space for their large vehicles and boats, and that they can stay together in the one location.

Accommodation

All our cabins have a veranda, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, a flat-screen TV and DVD player. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with bed linen provided.
